Quantum Dot Mandalas
Hello, I'm Anna Blood, the artist behind Quantum Dot Mandalas. Alongside my dedication to mandala art, I have a passion for computer science and chemistry.
My journey into the world of mandalas started with a love for drawing, but it flourished when I discovered mandala dot art. This serene form of expression provides a perfect balance to my scientific pursuits, offering a peaceful and creative contrast to a day immersed in science.
Much of what I have learned about mandala art comes from Demi Davidson, the artist behind Thoughtful Dots. Some of my works are recreations of her pieces from her tutorials. If you're interested in learning how to paint dot mandalas, I highly recommend her Patreon and Master classes.

What Are Quantum Dots?
In scientific terms, quantum dots are fascinating nanoscale semiconductor particles that exhibit unique optical and electronic properties.
In simpler terms, quantum dots are tiny particles that emit different colors depending on their size. These small "dots" symbolize the connection between my love for art and science, serving as both a metaphor and an inspiration for creating my mandalas.
“There is an art to science, and science in art; the two are not enemies, but different aspects of the whole.”
- Isaac Asimov
